Our new CD was born in the time when there were 3 important anniversaries in Trnava – 760th anniversary of an assignation of a privilege of a free king's town, 10th anniversary of the existence of Tirnavia and a forthcoming 30th anniversary of the activity of Cantica Nova. The CD includes a selection of repertoire of both choirs.

Stefan Bosnak, a mayor of Trnava, Jaroslav Holecek, a personal director of Volkswagen, and Lukas Vaculik, darling of all the girls, a Czech actor in a popular film A Friend for Rain, became the godfathers of the CD. There were some speeches and warm congratulations to the “newborn baby” as well as to its parents. At last a bottle of champagne was opened and there was a massive shouting of bravo in the hall. The general festivity has begun and there was a great mood and atmosphere in the Mirror hall of Trnava’s theatre until early morning hours.
